Does the aluminum case interfere with WiFi/Bluetooth?
All aluminum enclosures affect signal to some degree. However, we have optimized our design with antenna windows/clearances to maintain strong 2.4/5GHz connectivity. For mission-critical server applications, we always recommend Ethernet.
Do I need extra tools for assembly?
No. Every MILL & GRAIN case comes with a high-quality stainless steel hex key and all necessary screws.
Do I need a fan with the Pi 5?
No. Our "Heavyweight Monolith" edition is designed for 100% passive cooling. The massive thermal mass of the 6061-T6 block keeps the SoC well below throttling temperatures even under sustained load.
